Why It’s More Than Just a Shop
At Paraphernalia, we’re not trying to be flashy or over-polished. What we are is real. A bit of Minehead’s character lives within these walls — stories told through objects, shared over the counter, or discovered tucked in a forgotten corner of a display.
Whether you’re redecorating with soul, gifting with thought, or collecting with passion, we’re proud to offer a space full of personality and proper finds. No big chains, no gimmicks. Just honest-to-goodness treasure hunting, six days a week.
📲 Facebook Saw It First
Everything featured in this month’s roundup — from the brass bells and Murano glass to vintage guitars and nostalgic toys — first made its appearance over on our official Facebook page, often snapped the same day it arrived in the shop. The growth over there has been nothing short of phenomenal. We joined Facebook on 1st June 2025, just seven weeks ago, and as of today (22 July 2025), the page has reached 374 likes and 466 followers — and we’re honestly blown away.
We’ve been part of Minehead’s high street for over three decades now, with roots going back to our original location at 13 Friday Street before moving just next door to number 11 in 2015. The recent surge in local support and online engagement means the world to us — it’s like the community has suddenly found a megaphone for its love of all things vintage. Thank you for helping us grow something that’s never been about flash or fuss — just real finds, real people, and a proper rummage.
